Hello and welcome to my first ever blog! This little area of cyberspace is dedicated to my new passion for Surface Pattern Design. I’m a freelance designer from the UK, but based in Hong Kong. I love to create beautiful patterns and bespoke designs. I love all things yummy and colourful and have a particular love of layering and textures in my designs. I haven’t yet found my signature style – I’m having too much fun experimenting with different techniques and learning new things. I recently finished a very inspiring ecourse – “The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design” with Rachael Taylor and Beth Nicolls and loved every minute of it. I’ve gained some invaluable knowledge, been given some lovely encouragement and have gotten to know a brilliantly talented and supportive design community along the way who continue to inspire and support each other.
